Launching of Virtual Credit Card

Garima Development Bank Limited, in collaboration with the Fonepay Network, has launched Nepal’s own virtual credit card service through its mobile banking app, “Garima Digi Batuwa.” Customers of Garima Bikas Bank can activate this service by visiting their nearest branch office and completing a simple application process. Once activated, the virtual credit card will be available directly within the Garima Digi Batuwa mobile banking app.

With this virtual credit card, customers can conveniently make payments at any Fonepay QR code and across the entire Fonepay network.

The virtual credit card offers a credit limit ranging from NPR 10,000 up to NPR 100,000. Customers can enjoy an interest-free credit period of up to 45 days, along with flexible repayment options, allowing them to settle either 10 percent or 100 percent of the outstanding amount.

As this card is available virtually within the mobile banking app—without the need for a physical card—Garima Development Bank believes this service will provide customers with a more secure, innovative, and convenient digital banking experience.
