Garima
Bikas Bank Limited, in partnership with B.S. Foundation, successfully organized
a large-scale Free Health Camp in Ward No. 13 of Birendranagar Municipality,
Surkhet District. This initiative, which brought much-needed health services to
the local residents, featured free medical check-ups, consultations, and
medication distribution provided by qualified ophthalmologists and dentists.
The
camp, held with the aim of improving the health and well-being of the
community, was attended by around 500 local residents, who benefited from the
services. The event was graciously chaired by Mr. Dipendra Raj Koirala, the
ward chair of Birendranagar Ward No. 13, while Mr. Prakash Devakota, the
Regional Manager of the bank’s Kohalpur Region, graced the occasion as the
chief guest. The event also welcomed Mr. Buddhiman Shrestha, Chairman of B.S.
Foundation, who served as the special guest, further emphasizing the importance
of this collaborative effort.
This
Free Health Camp not only provided essential medical services to the
underserved local population but also served as an opportunity to raise
awareness about health issues and the importance of regular check-ups. The
distribution of medication and professional consultations helped many residents
better understand how to take care of their health, thus strengthening their
overall well-being.
In
addition to the health camp, Garima Bikas Bank Limited also took steps towards
empowering the younger generation by organizing a financial literacy program
for students in grades 9 and 10 at Sri Nepal National Community Secondary

the knowledge and skills they need to manage finances effectively, ensuring
they are better equipped for the future.
By
offering both health services and financial education, Garima Bikas Bank
Limited is demonstrating a continued Committed to Scoiety well-being. These
initiatives are not just about providing immediate assistance, but about
fostering long-term change and empowering individuals to take control of their
