18th Anniversary Celebration

Garima Bikas Bank Limited marked its 18th anniversary on Mangsir 7, 2081, by organizing various 18 social responsibility initiatives across the country. The following programs were successfully carried out to celebrate the occasion:

1.  Blood Donation Drive

The bank conducted large-scale blood donation campaigns in seven locations, collecting a total of 562 units of blood:

• 77 units at the Head Office, Lazimpat, Kathmandu.
• 78 units at the Regional Office, Narayanghat.
• 162 units at the Regional Office, Pokhara.
• 84 units at the Branch Office, Butwal.
• 65 units at the Regional Office, Kohalpur.
• 59 units at the Branch Office, Itahari.
• 37 units at the Branch Office, Birgunj.

2. Support to Traffic Offices

• Breathalyzers and color printers were provided to the District Traffic Office, Pokhara.
• Traffic divider & cones were donated for traffic management near Kirtipur Hospital and its main road.

3. Hospital Assistance

• Waiting chairs were donated to Kanti Children's Hospital, Kathmandu.
• Additional waiting chairs were provided to Beni Hospital, Myagdi.

4. Aid to Schools and Students

• Tracksuits (school uniforms) were distributed to students of Shree Gyanjyoti Basic School, Lalyang, Syangja.
• Winter clothing was distributed to students of Shree Rambha Devi Primary School, Nawalpur
• Tracksuits were provided to students of Shree Bal Shiksha Niketan Basic School, Waleng-11, Gabde, Syangja.

5. Other Contributions

• A shoe rack was donated to Janaki Mandir, Janakpurdham.
• A steel cupboard was gifted to Shree Ramnadi Dham Sanskrit Gurukul, Ramdi, Syangja.
• Shoes and socks were distributed to students of Mechi Basic School, located in Dolo Village, Bhadrapur-3, Jhapa (across the Mechi River).

These programs reflect the bank’s commitment to serving communities and promoting social welfare on the occasion of its anniversary.
