Appointment of Mr. Madhav Prasad Upadhaya as New CEO of Garima Bikas Bank Limited

The 304th BOD meeting of Garima Bikas Bank Limited held on Wednesday 14th Chaitra 2080 at 4:00 PM has appointed Mr. Madhav Prasad Upadhyay, who is working as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer in the bank, as the Chief Executive Officer for 4 years with effect from 1st Baisakh 2081. Mr. Madhav Prasad Upadhyay, who holds a master's degree in management, has been working in Garima Bikas Bank Limited since its inception and has been working as the company secretary for the past 15 years and as the deputy chief executive officer for the past 11 years. Before entering the banking sector, he was involved in the teaching profession for about one and a half decades.

The Board Meeting has decided to appoint Mr. Madhav Prasad Upadhyay, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, as the Chief Executive Officer from 1st Baishak 2081 as the tenure of Mr. Gobind Prasad Dhakal, who has been continuously holding the responsibility of the Chief Executive Officer for the past 15 years, will end at the end of 2080 Chaitra. 

In addition, the same meeting also decided to appoint Mr. Anil Regmi, Assistant Chief Executive Officer , as Company Secretary of the Bank with effect from 15th Chaitra 2080.

Garima Bikas Bank Limited, which has its head office in Lazimpat, Kathmandu, has been providing financial services to customers through 123 branch offices, 1 extension counter and 51 ATMs across the country, including 22 in Kathmandu Valley.
