Garima Road Race 2081

Garima Bikas Bank Limited successfully organized the first edition of Garima Road Race 2081 on Saturday, 8th Mangsir, 2081, to commemorate its 18th anniversary. The event was inaugurated by the esteemed chief guest, legendary runner and Olympian Mr. Baikuntha Manandhar. The race featured four categories: Open Women’s, Open Men’s, Corporate Women’s, and Corporate Men’s.

Race Details

Open Category (10 km):

The race started at the bank’s Central Office, Lazimpat, Kathmandu, and followed a route through Narayan Gopal Chowk, Hattigauda, and Ganesh Chowk in Budhanilkantha Municipality, before returning to Lazimpat for the finish line.

Corporate Category (5 km):

This race began at the Central Office, Lazimpat, proceeded to Narayan Gopal Chowk, and concluded back at Lazimpat.

Participation and Awards

With over 650 runners participating, the event witnessed impressive competition in all categories. The top five winners in each category were awarded cash prizes, medals, and certificates as follows:

• 1st Place: NPR 75,000
• 2nd Place: NPR 60,000
• 3rd Place: NPR 45,000
• 4th Place: NPR 30,000
• 5th Place: NPR 15,000
